We grow quality garlic that we are proud of. Our seed is sourced from certified organic stock and our garlic is grown without the use of pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. This means our hard working team regularly weeds the crop by hand and feeds the soil with organic inputs such as manures (you should see the worms among our crop!). Our garlic is watered with rain water pumped from our dam, harvested by hand and cured to ensure long storage life.
Whilst the growing process is labour intensive, we believe the finished product speaks for itself. Garlic when grown chemically free is a powerful health bulb and yet Australia continues to import over 90% of its garlic from China, Argentina and Mexico with AQIS fumigating bulbs with methyl bromide, one of the world's most dangerous chemicals for human health.
